Ariel doing some site seeing in MI...

We arrived in Frankenmuth, MI after lunch the one day on the trip.

Ariel and Kodah looking around at the German village in Frankenmuth, MI.

Some of the shops in the village.

More of the village.

Ariel was interested in the horse drawn carriage rides.

More of the village, from a different angle.

Grandpa with Kodah and Ariel as we head over the bridge to more of the village.

This bridge shown is one where cars can go through the village.

Mommy with Ariel and Kodah at the shops.

Really she wanted a drink of water.

One of the entrances.

Ariel got her drink of water.

Kodah got right in the water for his drink.

This shop is Bead Haven.

This is the inside of the bead shop and there were several rooms of beads!

Ariel browsing in the bead shop.
Thankfully, no husky jumped up on the bead tables and knocked them over or that would have been one big bead mess!

They were putting up the Christmas decorations the day we were there.

This shop was called Cats and Dogs.

Of course, mommy had to go in.

Here is the shop called Peace Frogs.

And doggies were allowed in the shop.
Mommy loves the Peace frogs and hasn't seen a shop for them in a very long time, so of course we had to go in.
Ariel decided to take a break while mommy did some shopping.

The bridge back into the north end of the village.

The middle of the village where the Cheese shop was that we stopped at before heading out for daddy, since he loves hot, spicy cheese.
More highlights to come tomorrow of our trip to MI.
Stay tuned.

  1. Looks like a very nice place to visit. Seems like Ariel and Kodah fitted right in even visiting the bead and pet stores. Thank goodness the beads weren't tipped over. Ariel and Kodah would still be there picking them up.
