Ariel's day out with mom

Here is my co-pilot, Ariel.
It was her special day to be with mom because she really needed a break
from her baby brother, Chip.

We went to the Pet Expo at the Rochester,NY Public Market.
As you can Ariel is in the lead and ready to shop!

Ariel wants to know when she can get a hair-do like this dog's?

Ariel was checking out the table of treats.
She brought her allowance, so she could pick one out
to take home.
(And of course, she shared with her Sibe siblings at home.)

Ariel really like this big hunk!

Ariel finally found one of her own kind!
(It was pretty amazing, we were at a stand and Ariel had laid down, facing the other way as I paid for the items and I don't know how she knew there was another husky to the other side of her,but she jumped up and went right over to say "hi" in doggie language.)

Of course we came home with some delicious
canine cupcakes for the entire crew.

And before we headed back home she said "good-bye"
in doggie language to a rescue group of basset hounds.

And as you can see, Ariel had a great day with mom.
She is now dreaming about all the sights, smells &
sounds of the Pet Expo today.
One other note: This little girl at the expo was so cute, she knew enough to ask to pet Ariel and then she asked what her name was?  I replied, Ariel.  She then turned to her daddy and told him that's a princess.  It was so very cute.  Ariel is not really named after the character from the Little Mermaid, but Ariel is our princess for sure!

We finally did it!

Hi everyone,

I finally decided to do a blog about our huskies and our lives with them.  I hope you enjoy our daily and weekly journeys. We have five Siberian huskies.  Nala is our red and white and our oldest female who is 12, Shaboo, aka Boo is our 10year old black and white girl, Timber is gray and white and we think he is around 13(he was a foster we adopted 8years ago on the 4th of July), Ariel who turned 3 in May who is a silver/black Sibe(she was a foster we adopted) and Chip is a little over 4months old and is a black and white pup.  We did have Oreo for 10years till this past March when we lost our pie-bald boy to cancer of the spleen.  I still miss him to this day.  We live in the Finger Lakes area of NY and we do all kinds of doggie events and parties with the dogs.  So, I hope you enjoy the blog!
