Guess What Arrived Today?

Let's see what the huskies got in the mail today?
Any guesses?
Maybe some pictures will help you out.

 Chip inspecting the package.
Ariel takes a turn trying to figure it out.
Nala and Boo take a sniff...
IT'S GIBBIE SNACKS!!!
YOU CAN ORDER YOUR OWN AT:
They are made in Vermont.

GIBSON IS FROM THE FIVESIBES BLOG.
THESE TREATS ARE DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR EPI DOGS.
AND SINCE NALA AND BOO BOTH SUFFER FROM SEIZURES WE
HAD TO TRY THEM OUT.
SO SEE WHAT THEY SAY...

 Nala says they look yummy!
Boo and Chip want them now!
Timber says they look really good.

Ariel says when can we have one?

Here we go for the taste testing...

We got all paws up on this treat, even Miss Picky, Nala ate 2 of them.
Now they are just simply asking for more Gibbie Treats!

Also, part of the sales of Gibbie Snacks goes to the Wally Foundation.
So its a win-win situation for all.

The crew...

The crew watches the neighborhood
from the front yard on a nice cool, sunny summer afternoon.

Timber, Nala, Boo, Chip and Ariel

The boys hanging out together.

I like how someone thinks he is king
between his 2 big sisters, who are the bosses of this crew.

Chip's day at work with mom...

The other day Chip got to go to work with mommy(Holly).
Here are some of the pictures of his day at the beach and park with mom and her coworkers.

Chip getting a belly rub from one of the lifeguards.

Chip hanging out with mom's assistant.

Chip getting some attention from Holly's great niece, Maggie,
who also takes swim lessons at the lake.

Chip taking a break with his toy from all the socializing.

Chip wanted to try the slide the wrong way.
Typical Sibe kid.

Chip hanging with the lifeguards and rec assistants
on lunch break.
He got a lot of treats and mommy paid for it later with a sick tummy from Chip.

And before we left work, mommy took me swimming.
One of my favorite things to do.
What a great day Chip says!

Transport day...

Today was the day I transported Lily Girl to Husky Trooper Rescue.
Lily Girl will then be heading to Maine tomorrow to her new home!
I am so happy for her and her new wonderful life!
I got to speak to Melissa via phone today and you could hear the excitement in her voice and I think if we could have hugged each other through the phone we would have.
Lily Girl with have 2 Sibe siblings when she gets to Melissa's house.
I am so happy she will have playmates when she gets there
and we will keep in touch with her and Melissa, which I look forward to that first email and pictures of her there.
And here is Chip this morning watching us leave.
My crew when I got back this afternoon were looking for her, but I told them
we will keep in touch always with Lily Girl's mom.
I truly appreciate my crew.  We have had fosters come and go and they have always been very welcoming as if they know.
Some fosters(Ariel &Timber) ended up permanent residents here too.
They are all special.

A Bittersweet time tonight...

Tonight is the last night Lily Girl will be with us.
We have gotten to know her in the last couple of days and
she will always have a piece of my heart.
I have been telling her she is going to a great &beautiful
place in our country, Maine.
No matter how many times I have fostered a Sibe its never easy to say bye.
I never say "good-bye" that just seems to permanent to me.
To me "bye" means we will see each other again.
I told her we'd keep in touch and hopefully someday we will see each other again.
Here are some photos of her today.
This photo of Lily Girl is one of my favorites by the wildflowers.

She patiently waits for the water to fill up the kiddie pool.

Lily Girl being a silly girl.

She likes the sound toys make, so that interested her.
I put it in her crate, but she did take it out to play with later.

I will always remember her for her jet black fur, the love of water, kiddie pool,
rides in the car, fridge/freezer, human food, getting along with my crew,
and the sweet licks she has given me during her stay here.
We love you Lily Girl and only wish you the best life possible!
Hugs,
Holly and the huskies

A Big Thank You!

I would like to thank everyone who helped save
Lily Girl!

Saturday, her and I will head to Trooper Husky Rescue
and then she will eventually head to Maine to be with Melissa, her new mom.
She is a sweet girl who only wants a human companion who is patient with her.
Her and I sat together today, and I talked to her ,she came over sniffed me, gave me a little lick as if to say thank you.
I will always remember that special moment with her.
I hope we always stay in touch with all the great people that made this possible for her.
Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help,
especially my dear friend, Dorothy from FiveSibes.
We are a good team together.
HUGS to All!

National Ice Cream day...

Yesterday, was National Ice Cream Day.
So, Chip got his first taste of ice cream and a ride with his sisters, Nala, Shaboo, &Ariel to McDonald's drive thru.

As you can see, Shaboo is mommy's co-pilot all the time.
Chip is peeking through the seats.
Ariel & Nala are just hanging out in the backseat.
At McDonald's for ice cream.
In the drive thru for the ice cream.

 Timber eyeing dad's strawberry shake.
Ariel & Chip checking out the goodies.
 Nala tells Chip that's yummy!
All the furkids lined up with their bowls of ice cream.
Even, Timber our old guy is enjoying his ice cream.
Sometimes he likes it and other times not so much, but
there is always someone to help him out.

As you can see Chip is playing musical bowls. Really he is just checking all the other bowls to make sure no one left any ice cream behind.  I doubt any of the huskies did.

Just the right spot...

Just the right spot...

A little more to my left dad...

ahhh...just the right spot!

It's amazing to see Ariel even get near her human daddy today!

Ariel was to be a foster to us, but mommy fell in love with her after a couple of weeks of having her around and she fit right in the pack.
When mommy, big sisters Nala and Boo went and picked her up at Lollypop Farm (where she was dumped) Ariel was more afraid of humans then other dogs.  She tinkled when she came in the meet and greet room.  It was kind a sad to see a beautiful dog be so afraid.
The people that had dumped her said on the paperwork she had been mean to a little dog.
Well, the truth came out when we arrived home with her.  She was afraid of men.  So, you all know most likely what happened to her in her past life of a year and half old.
She celebrated her 3rd birthday with us in May and has come around so much with people especially men.  Friends and family that met her when we first got her and now know her can't believe what a difference.  I guess that's all we need is a little love and patience.

During the thunderstorm last night...

Here's most of the gang hanging out with mom during the thunderstorms
last night.
Do you like my new neck warmer?
Chip loves to sit on shoulders.  He has done this since the day we brought him home.
He is about 38pounds now at 5months old.
Boo was sitting on my lap and Nala and Ariel next to the sofa.
Nala does not care for the thunderstorms at all.
If it weren't so hot &humid we would have put her Thunder Shirt on her.  It really does calm her during storms etc.
