It was Chocolate Chip Cookie day!

Hi, it's me, Chip here. I got to go to work with mommy today like a I did a year ago when I was much smaller.

See we celebrated Chocolate Chip Cookie day because of me!
No, not really it's mommy's way of thanking her summer rec. staff and I got to come because the kids wanted to see how big I got over the year.
I surprised some in how big I grew.
Here is all the fun activities we got to do today or that I did.

The kids eating up the chocolate chip cookies.

I figured one of them has to give me a piece eventually.

I checked to see if Peggy(mommy's assistant) was hiding any cookies in her lunch bag.
No luck there either, but Peggy did share other snacks with me.  Oops I wasn't suppose to let mom know that.  Oh well.

I wasn't too sure what this was?
We couldn't swim today because there were some algae issue in the lake.
So, I quickly learned what this was.

They are water balloons!

The kids were having a blast with them!

Look at this bird!
Mommy said that was too big for me to chase and it's a Bald Eagle at the beach.
It was amazing and mom took a ton of photos.

We also set up a big slip and slide for the kids to keep cool.
This is Maggie(our great niece) and me.
I really didn't pull her at all.  I was more interested in drinking the water off the tarp.

I watched the kids play volleyball too.

I then went to lunch with Peggy and mom.
I made sure I found my spot at the table.

After lunch I had to take a nap.

I thought this object was very interesting because water came out of it.
I wonder why mommy and daddy don't have one at home?

I liked it!
It was a cool and refreshing drink.
Mom wasn't quick enough with the camera to get me actually drinking out of it.

Mommy brought some of my toys to play with, so we played a bit.

Wow, that's a big dog bowl!

This little boy thought I might go down the slip and slide with him.

Instead, I decided to drink and cool off from the outdoor overhead shower with Maggie.

Then I shook myself dry onto everyone else around me.

Then I saw a lady with 3 little dogs off in the distance, but they didn't want to come and play with us.

So, I went back to watching the kids have fun on the slip and slide.

I had to take a little break.

And here goes mom with the camera thinking this is cute.

My tough stance.

Come on mom give me that treat!

I am smiling bigger now.

Really mom I think those people over there are looking at me.

Can you take this off now?

How's this smile?

Did you get the background in this time?

Ok, I have had enough mom.

So, that was my day at work, I mean the beach.  Mom has a fun job and I really liked being with her today.  I just hope it cools off here sometime. They say this weekend will be cooler.
