Today would have been Oreo's 11th birthday!
We still dearly miss him everyday.
I believe he knew he was sick and had a hand in bringing Chip to us.
Unfortunately, we lost him to cancer in March of 2013.

So, for today's blog we will be sharing photos of Oreo throughout his life here on earth with us.

This photo was once used as a Christmas card.

This was also another Christmas card photo.
This was the winter we had great big snow piles and they loved them.
We are hoping for that this winter, so Chip and Ariel can experience it.

The boys, napping on the sofa together.

As you can see now the gang has grown to 4 Sibes.

The boys resting out in the rain. Silly boys, Timber and Oreo.
I always called them the Get-A-Long Gang. (some of you might remember the cartoon of the Get-A-Long Gang)
There will never be such a great pack like them.
The boys again.

Keepin' cool.
One winter mommy tried to see if Oreo would pull mommy on the inner tube down the front hill. No such luck, he sat on my lap instead.
What kind of sled dog is he?
And here you can see where they were trying to get on and ride with mommy.
The gang out in the snow.
At least the boys listen to me, the girls on the other hand do their own thing.
The boys watching the back yard.
Out playin' in the snow!
Oreo and Nala sleeping on mommy and daddy's bed.
The boys waiting for dinner together.
The gang.
The boys sittin' side by side.
How sweet they get along so well.

I guess mommy doesn't need a blanket, when she's got 3 huskies to keep her warm.
My garden statue, Oreo.

The Sibes watch the yard from a high spot.
Oreo liked the top of the dog house and Boo likes to sleep inside of it.
And guess who now likes to get on top of the doghouse?
Was your guess right? Chip!
My singing quartet.
I love when they sing.
Oreo, Timber and Nala comforting mommy on day she didn't feel good.
Oreo and Nala curled up in their husky balls on the sofa.
Oreo just sitting and enjoying the snow.
The gang out in the snow.
I like how the boys are together and the girls of course are up front.

I love how he used the pill to rest his head on.
A duet by Oreo and Boo.

Gotta to love how Oreo stuck his tongue out for the picture.
He was a mamma's boy.

So, glad we had this photo done when we did.

This photo was taken the weekend before the cancer hit Oreo so hard and fast.
It's my favorite photo.
To: Oreo
I hope you are having a wonderful birthday today in heaven.
We love you forever and always,
Mommy , Daddy, Nala, Boo, Timber, Ariel and your puppy brother, Chip.
(Please note: this is only a tad of the photos I have of Oreo. I shared the ones where he was mostly with his family. He was also a show dog from puppyhood to 3years old, he shared many birthdays with us too, playgroup dates and so many other important dates like our wedding day.)
Hope you enjoyed them!
Happy Birthday, Oreo! We hope you had a blast running in the snowy fields North of the Rainbow Bridge. You were such a beautiful boy! Holly, what a wonderful tribute to him. I love all the pics, but especially the one above the "ge along gang" caption...I love the sunset glow on them..,and of course the ski photo. Happy Birthday, Oreo!
