Dr. Johnson who performed my surgery called mommy today and this is what he told her:
Yes, it was a mast cell tumor.
There are 3grades of tumors, grade 1 being nothing, grade 2 could go either way and grade 3 not so good,
but mine was a low level grade 2 tumor!
And it was all removed from me and I should live at least another 2years according to the documentation sent by Cornell, so that would put me at 14 and half years old.
The chances of it ever coming back are slim, so that's a good thing!
I don't have to doing any meds for it or chemo, so that's a plus too, since I don't like taking meds.
The only thing the vet said was to give me a Benadryl once a day just for a couple more weeks and then I am good and ready for the snow when it gets here soon, I hope.
Mommy said she was taking me somewhere special tomorrow, so you will have to wait and see where we go!

So very sorry we have not been around much. Lots of reasons, but mainly now the chaos with all the renovations at home. BUT we saw your post with the good news about Nala. We hope every day ahead for her is filled with joy, fun, and happy times.
