Timber out on our walk tonight after dinner.
He must be licking his lips still from dinner.
Chip waits for big brother, Timber on the walk.
The boys are so cute.
And off they go back to the house.
Our sweet boy, Timber.
Hi everyone! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers for me.
husky hugs from Timber
Here's the new bed and toy mommy and grandma went
and got me today.
So, you all are probably wondering why the title is mystery dog, right?
Well this morning we went back to our vet with an early morning urine sample that is being sent off to Cornell for further testing.
And for the first time ever Timber had his blood pressure taken.
They did it both ways manually and automatically.
It came back high, but its hard to determine it because it can be that way in big dogs and plus we don't have a baseline to go off to know if that's normal or not for Timber.
Our vet is awesome! She belongs to an online veterinary forum and put some questions out there
on Timber.
So, hopefully in a couple of days we will have the results on Timber's urine sample and answers to our vet's questions.
It's hard to determine what's really going on with him because his proteins are low and usually a dog with kidney problems has high protein levels and is put on a low protein diet to help the condition. And he is anemic, but not sure why because there is no internal or external bleeding.
So, that is why the title is mystery dog because we are not sure what's going on with Timber at this point.
Overall, he is doing fine, eating, drinking, resting like usual, taking walks with us and he even played with his little brother, Chip today.
I thought it was Chip instigating the playing, but daddy told me it was Timber.
We will keep you all posted on our boy.
And again thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers!
We truly appreciate them all.
Have a beautiful weekend!
