Boo enjoying her ice cream.
She is so sweet.
Bree thought she could have mom's too!
Bree tries too.
Obviously, she got some because she is licking her lips.
Mommy's 40th Birthday!
Yep, we celebrated mom's 40th on 5-30-2015.
We had a good time because everyone came over and we got lots of treats!
Especially, mom's ice cream cake that she loves to have for her birthday each year!

Our Queen Nala is at Peace...
Our Nala was battling cancer for a second time. She had her up and down days with it at 14 years old, but yesterday at 4am it started to get the best of her where she started spitting up blood. She had been diagnosed in February of this year with another mast cell tumor. At her age and where it was located surgery would have been too much for her to go through again. We opted to monitor her and took her a couple times to a holistic vet to make her comfortable during this time with cold laser therapy, acupuncture and chiropractic care. Easter weekend she gave us a scare and we thought then we were loosing her. We got her to our regular vet then and they gave her half a bag of IV fluids, a shot of Benadryl and some other meds and she perked up by the time we left. They sent us home to give her 2 shots a day of a med to keep her tummy settled, so she would eat. She had lost 4lbs, but gained 2 back in the last 2 weeks and was doing great for what she had. We knew it was just a matter of time, but you are never really ready when it does happen.
She was a great dog and a true and fair alpha of her pack here.
She is terribly missed by so many and in many ways.
Over the 14 years of having her she was a great big Sibe sister to her siblings, written in a book on K-9 Epi dogs, a model for Poopsadaisy a pet product, a model at the Rochester FurBall event where she modeled a collar by a designer from NYC(which we will always have, mom had to have it and sure glad I do, but miss those days), she won pet costume contest over the years, but most of all she was a great friend and companion to us. We miss her so much.
We are keeping an eye on Boo, Ariel and Chip with this adjustment.
Last night Boo was looking for her big sis. They had been together since Boo was 8weeks old, a total of 12years.
We know now she is pain free and running free with Oreo and Timber.
We could tell yesterday she was telling us it was time. As Mike put it she didn't have that sparkle in her eyes, it was time.
Never an easy decision.
